CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

Never use on wet hair.

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

73 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1275 total reviews.

Sedu:

29 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3881 total reviews.

That speaks for itself!

If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.

Take a look at this.

Note how CHI is number 7.

Note how GHD is number 4.

Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!

Or if you want something a little cheaper but also is still better than the CHI, get a Solia, it is second in line to the Sedu. Are conair hair straighteners good?
I have a conair straightener, and to tell you the blunt truth, it doesn't work that well. I have to use my sisters straightener to do my hair and use the conair one as well. That might be because of my hair type (thick) I would save up my money and buy one from the salon or maybe a bed head straightener. Use your best judgement!
thay r ok thay r not the best best but it gets the job done
i had one b4 and after a few weeks it stopped working.
i own one and i luv it ; except mine was $30

Conair Hair Straightener?

Ughh! Theres half of you who say Chi is sh*tty.. and Conair is the best. Then the other half says Chi is the best.

So I'm thinking about buying a Conair Straightener instead?

It's 30 dollars. Should I go for it? (:

I'd go for the Chi Hair Straightener. I absolutely love mine, but they are expensive to buy. I've had mine for about a year with no problems (knock on wood). My friend had a Conair and it broke within the first month. They are cheap, maybe that's why?

If you're worried about the price tag, try and be one of the 500 people to try out a new Chi Hair Straightener product the Chi company is offering people. You supposedly get to keep it after too. http://www.freesamplesfromheaven.com/chi鈥?/a>

Good luckConair Hair Straightener?
Amen girl! I know how you feel :P Lol but personally last year I tried a CHI and it was horrible %26amp; %26amp; Broke in less than 3 months :( But then I bought an Infiniti Conair Straightener for about $30-$40 and it works great :) I still have it today and it's still in good shape :)

So I say YES definitely go for it :)

Conair hair straightener?

I LOVE the pink!!! Do you know the highest temperature? Most of the professional ones (like my sedu) go to 450. For the low price, it's worth a try. Of the websites I visited, I couldn't find very many reviews, however, the few that I did read were all positive.

And Macy's has it at an even cheaper price if you can buy it online:

Yeah I have it, it works very good. My hair is big and thick and it makes it very straight I recommend it a lot!
I don't have the breast cancer specific one, but I do have it. And my sister in law and I are both 25yr.+ stylists and like it so much better than the expensive CHI brand.
dont get any con-air hair-straightenrs!i used two and they easily brake.
The best kind of hair straightener is a ceramic plate strightener. The best one is a Chi or a hot tools. they are a little more money but they are soooo worth it!
yes i use it every week.... and yes it a good straightener it made my hair very soft. and straight
i would buy a chi.theyre expensive, but conair brakes easily and my hair is very thick but the chi makes it straight as a board.

i have a chi straightener but, i bought it at a store.

Are Conair hair straighteners any good?

depends on your hair type..it usually works for fine to medium hair

    Are conair hair straighteners good?

they're fine if you don't have really curly hair. I use a Conair straightener because I have naturally straight hair and just need to smooth it out after blow drying. If you have really curly hair, I'd suggest a Chi straightener, which are more expensive but will get the job done quicker with less damage to the hair. (Using a less effective straightener will cause you to have to go over each section of hair too much, causing damage.)Are conair hair straighteners good?
I've heard of some that work on wavy hair. but take longer for curly hair. i should know! because i own (well its my moms!) but its the conair Infiniti and my hair is curly and is about chin length. before i cut my hair (it would've been medium length) it took me about 2 hours to straighten it but it would get it so that the ends look like some of the famous peoples when they're straight hair is curled at the ends so it was maybe curled about two inches up they're hair. so my hair would be straight then wavy and then it would lightly curl at the ends, but ever since awhile ago i lost one of the plates on it because it slides off for travelling. so i havent tried it lately so im not sure i can give u an updated answer from my hair! but some of the newer models of conair should work much better because they would have been hotter,. hope i helped!

Why doesn't my Conair hair straightener work?

i was straightening my hair this morning and by the time i was on the last piece thingy the heat turned low and wouldn't straighten at all..

the lights on it show but the heat won't come on and i didn't get water on it either or anything..

does anyone have an idea that might make it work or know why it doesn't work? Why doesn't my Conair hair straightener work?
It doesn't work because Conair doesn't make good quality straighteners. I used to have one that I spent $30 on, and it had the same problem. If you want a good straightener, you really need to spend the money for it and get a Chi. I used my friend's once, and it took me 5 minutes to straighten my hair (my hair is naturally wavy-curly), while my Conair one normally takes at least 20 minutes. Just save your money and go for the good one. You won't regret it.Why doesn't my Conair hair straightener work?
if you pull the plug out by the wores and not the base of the plug itself, that may be what damaged it. also, if your straightener is more than maybe two years old, it could have just crapped out on you because of old age. if all else fails, call up the company (you can get the number off the internet) and tell them exactly what happened. sometimes hair straighteners come with a warranty and you don't even know it.
i had the same exact problem last week i just got a new one
did u buy like one dat was 14.99?

dont buy those usually the ones $20 and up work better
